Journee Harris is an urbanist and storyteller who believes in the exchange of stories as a powerful tool for community engagement, connecting generations, and preserving cultural heritage. Trained initially as a psychologist and later as a city planner, Journee's work is centered on building and sustaining equitable and dignifying places for social activity and community well-being. She holds a B.S. in Psychology from Howard University and a Master’s in City Planning from MIT. Journee joins the Alliance with over five years of research and program management experience in the non-profit sector, specializing in placemaking, affordable housing, youth development, and equity in the built environment
