Details

The Friendship Heights Alliance has made great strides this year, and we want to celebrate with you! We've kicked off our first events, managed a four-month community engagement effort that connected with more than 1300 people, created a new website to highlight the neighborhood, and started placemaking and economic development initiatives. Join us for wine and hors d'oeuvres to celebrate the first year of the Alliance.

There will be a brief program at 6:30 pm.

This event is free and open to the public, and will take place in conjunction with the Closing Celebration for the "Echoes of Ellis Island," a collection of work from Jarob Ortiz, the large format photographer for the National Park Service. The first floor of the Chevy Chase Pavilion has been transformed into a photo gallery and cultural space in partnership with Lost Origins Gallery and the International Focus on the Story Photography Festival.

Come, mingle, meet your neighbors, or bring a friend. RSVP so we can be sure to provide enough food and beverages.
