What is happening in Friendship Heights? Join us to take a look at recent changes, including new residential buildings and animated public spaces. 

On this tour we’ll discuss the forward-looking Friendship Heights Vision Framework, which was created through a broad-based engagement process led by the Friendship Heights Alliance. The Framework offers the opportunity for stakeholders to support and co-create the future of the neighborhood. We’ll explore new market-rate and affordable housing coming to the area, discuss improving the pedestrian environment along Wisconsin Avenue, and check out a network of public and pop-up spaces that foster a more welcoming place for visitors and residents. Attendees will get a quick peek into the new Residences at Mazza and a hidden-gem pinball attraction. The tour ends at the Friendship Heights Alliance’s popular Makers Market, which attracts 2,000 people several times each year to shop, enjoy, engage, create, and generally have fun while supporting local artisans and makers.
