Join the Friendship Heights Alliance pollinator commons group on Thursday, July 23, for a special tour of the native plantings on the rooftop of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Library. This rooftop garden, designed by renowned landscape architects Oehme, van Sweden, is a beautiful sanctuary for the public -- and has a lot to teach those of us interested in urban pollinator plantings. We'll be meeting at 6:00 PM on the library rooftop (901 G St. NW, Washington, DC, 5th floor). The tour will begin promptly at 6:30. Free. For further information, contact amanda.huron@gmail.com.
