Join the Friendship Heights Pollinator Commons group for a discussion of Robin Wall Kimmerer's The Serviceberry: Abundance and Reciprocity in the Natural World. The wintry world outside may be cold, but we'll warm up -- and dream of spring -- with Kimmerer's beautiful essay on the serviceberry, a tree native to our region. We'll be hosted in the Sky Lounge at the Residences at Mazza, with refreshments compliments of the Friendship Heights Alliance. Attendance is limited, so please RSVP today!
Robin Wall Kimmerer is a mother, scientist, professor, and enrolled member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation -- and the author of the acclaimed Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge and the Teachings of Plants. You can order your copy of The Serviceberry from Politics & Prose at this link, or find it in other area bookstores.
