Weekend of Love Pop-Up

15+ artisans and makers will converge at The Shops at Wisconsin Place for a weekend in February. Bring your friends, your date, your "galentine," your daughter, or your lover, and pop in for a fun-filled afternoon of browsing, mingling, eating, and drinking. Complimentary wine; food for purchase. The event is free, and all are welcome.

Studio by Robin Bell 

Visit the second show in the pop-up gallery at Chevy Chase Pavilion! Award-winning visual and projection artist Robin Bell will recreate his Mount Pleasant studio of 18 years. The show is an immersive installation that will include a salon wall showing the work he has collected and created over the last two decades. There will also be pieces of ephemera from the projections he is most known for.

Fort Reno Historic Exhibit Tour

Tour the exhibit in the Pepco substation windows with historian Neil Flanagan. Take a deep-dive into neighborhood history of Fort Reno, Reno City, and the Chesapeake House.

Makers Market on Wisconsin Avenue

The popular Friendship Heights Makers Market returns with 25+ creative vendors, prepared foods, crafts and art-making, and neighborhood small businesses. Knock out your summer gift shopping while supporting local artisans and makers, and don’t miss the dance lessons and interactive fun. Stop by and shop from your favorite woman-owned local vendors, or stay the entire afternoon and hang out in a comfy Adirondack chair.
