Details

The Friendship Heights Alliance is developing a Pollinator Commons that will serve both DC and Montgomery County. The goal of this cross-jurisdictional garden project is to help restore local ecologies, engage residents and businesses in environmental stewardship, and create a patch of wild beauty in Friendship Heights.

In this interest meeting, we will discuss the planting sites, share information about the planting schedule, and explain how to get involved. Amanda Huron, a UDC professor and master gardener, will be leading this project and will be available during the meeting to answer any questions.

Whether you were born with a green thumb or have always wanted to start gardening, we would love to have you join us in this garden project!

When: Tuesday, July 30
Time: 5:30 - 6:30 pm
Location: Booeymonger, 5252 Wisconsin Ave NW

RSVP on Eventbrite. This event is free and recommended for upper elementary school children (likely third grade) and up. Light bites from Booeymonger will be served.
