Enjoy live classical and jazz melodies at the lush plaza at the Shops at Wisconsin Place this fall. Over four Thursday evenings, take a seat on the plaza and experience performances from the best musicians in the region.

October 1: District Strings with violin, viola, cello

District Strings began in 2013, when three graduate students teamed up to build a creative network of violinists, violists, and cellists for concerts, recording sessions, corporate events, and weddings throughout the region. Today, that trio has grown into a vibrant collective of 25 musicians known for their versatility, artistry, and collaborative spirit. From classical masterworks to fresh arrangements of today’s biggest hits, District Strings brings curated performances to life with energy, elegance, and style. More at @districtstrings.

Location: 5310 Western Avenue, MD. The plaza is at the northwest corner of Western and Wisconsin Avenues NW, in front of Bloomingdale’s. Limited seating is available on the plaza. Feel free to bring a chair, a blanket, and a friend!
