Friendship Heights Alliance Crossroads Conversations
Join the Friendship Heights Alliance and local housing experts for a lively discussion that delves into the root causes of our region’s housing shortage — and how you can better understand why we keep getting stuck.
Crossroads Conversations is a fall series presented by the Friendship Heights Alliance that explores compelling topics, neighborhood history, and unique skills led by brilliant minds, neighbors, and friends.
Why We Need More Housing will feature a panel with Rob Wolcheski from Roadside Development and Patrick McAnaney from Somerset Development, facilitated by Jon Stover from the economic development research firm JS&A.
Expect to leave with a clearer understanding of what’s holding us back from building more housing, what’s possible, and what actions you can take to support more housing and affordability in your neighborhood — and especially Friendship Heights.

Location: Pavilion Pop-Up Community Space, 5301 Wisconsin Avenue NW
