Experience the heart of Friendship Heights! The Sunday Commons Market is a weekly gathering where neighbors can come together over delicious food, engaging activities, and live performances. 

Start your Sunday morning with freshly prepared foods, artisanal baked goods, farm-fresh produce, and beautiful flowers from local vendors while enjoying live performances from talented musicians and artists. Join us for Sunday Commons every Sunday from August 30 - November 22, at the 5200 block of Wisconsin Ave NW for a day of community, flavor, and fun.

Sunday Commons + Keychain Workshop: Sunday, August 30 at 10am - 2pm

Live performance by Sadia from 10am-12:30pm plus a Keychain making workshop by Baer Stitches. All supplies will be provided for participants. RSVP required for the keychain making workshop.

Looking for a fun, hands on way to decorate your bags and backpacks? Join us for the keychain workshop, where you will create a custom keychain charm design using market finds and materials we provide. Instructor: Trisha Shrivastava is a multidisciplinary artist based in Washington, DC. Her work spans graphic design, jewelry making, embroidery and crochet.

Fall Dates: August 30 – November 22, 2026, except for Nov. 15 (due to the Makers Market on Nov. 14)

Time: 10 am to 2 pm

Location: Sidewalk in front of 5210 Wisconsin Avenue NW (in front of the Pepco Substation) at Wisconsin Avenue and Harrison Street NW
