Experience the heart of Friendship Heights! The Sunday Commons Market is a weekly gathering where neighbors can come together over delicious food, engaging activities, and live performances. 

Start your Sunday morning with freshly prepared foods, artisanal baked goods, farm-fresh produce, and beautiful flowers from local vendors while enjoying live performances from talented musicians and artists. Join us for Sunday Commons every Sunday from August 30 - November 22, at the 5200 block of Wisconsin Ave NW for a day of community, flavor, and fun.

Sunday Commons: Sunday, September 13 at 10am - 2pm

Sept. 13, 2026: Sunday Commons + Workshop: Live performance by Sadia from 10-12:30. 

Photography Workshop: Photography workshop with Pat Graham: “How We Photograph a Place.” Visitors will choose a simple challenge: Person, Detail or Moment, make a photograph on their phone while at the market, and report back to the group. In the meantime, photographer Diane Krauthamer will document the workshops, people and activity across Sunday Commons. The works will be compiled and curated by Pat Graham, and result in a final 10–15 image mini-exhibition within the gallery show Present Imperfections, including a few participant photographs.

Other Notable Happenings at the Sept 13 Market:

2. Protein bar samples from Rodman’s
3. Vouchers from L’Occitane Georgetown for a complimentary mini facial at their store
4. Complimentary water bottles.

Fall Dates: August 30 – November 22, 2026, except for Nov. 15 (due to the Makers Market on Nov. 14)
