Friendship Heights Alliance Launches Robust Events Calendar
WASHINGTON, DC, APRIL 24, 2025 ⸺ The Friendship Heights Alliance launched a robust events calendar this week with more than 100 free community events throughout the neighborhood, and 14 events in May alone!
With a focus on pop-ups, new programming for employees, and a new 7-week market series, the Alliance is activating Wisconsin Avenue, interior spaces, and office lobbies this year.
“We’re in the business of building community and bringing people together, all while supporting our neighborhood businesses and activating the public realm,” said Friendship Heights Alliance Executive Director Natalie Avery. “Our new Pollinator Gardens program is beautifying the sidewalks, installing native plants and teaching neighbors how to care for them; and our Wellness Wednesday pop-ups for employees are bringing a fun focus on healthy living to our office workers.”
