Robin Bell To Recreate Studio in Immersive Installation in Friendship Heights 


What: Award-winning visual and projection artist Robin Bell will recreate his Mount Pleasant studio of 18 years in a pop-up gallery in Chevy Chase Pavilion, organized by the Friendship Heights Alliance. The show is an immersive, light-filled installation that will include a salon wall showing the work he has collected and created over the last two decades. This is the first time he has created an installation like this. There will also be pieces of ephemera from the projections he is most known for, which have lit up well-known venues throughout North America, including the Corcoran, the Kennedy Center, 9:30 Club, The Phillips Collection, Central Park SummerStage in NYC, and the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. 


When: Wednesday, March 1, 6 pm to 8 pm. A brief program will take place at 7 pm. 

Where: Chevy Chase Pavilion Pop-up Gallery, 5335 Wisconsin Avenue NW, First Floor

Who: This event is free and open to the public, and available for all ages.
